Coast View Drive, a scenic location, 52 Beautiful Standard Pacific homes, and our work is inside 31 of them!
Across from Loyola Marymount University one street understands that a great product and great customer service is Miles above the company that can”beat your price”. If you have to sell your company on price along, well let me say this, our industry is 1/3 the size today that is was when I signed with my first client on Coastal View Drive in 2007. Last month, October 2014 we signed a contract with our 31st client, and 31st home on this street! This is where it gets good, our newest client, a Grammy Award winner and family had newly arrived on this street and needed many custom woodworking projects, but they weren’t sure how to go about it. When she asked one of there neighbors, they referred us, but it wasn’t until her other neighbor, another happy client who again gave us their highest marks, and at that point C and L got the call.
In several blogs on this page I refer to the Repeat and Referred clients and there importance, Coastal view has made my point 30 times ( remember the 1st client doesn’t count, as he wasn’t referred).
After meeting with our newest client I stopped by Mr. J.S.’s home, the gentleman who had started everything with one referral. Not knowing if he’d immediately remember me, I knocked on his door ready to say “Hi I’m Craig from C and L Designs, followed by “remember me”? In 8 years I know my reflection in the bathroom mirror has changed but I guess only to me, and without having to say a word he remembered my first name and exactly who I was! We talked for a bit and I told him of our unbelievable success on Coastal View when at that point he told me,” Craig remember when I said if you did right by us you’d be very happy” , and no ones words were ever as true!
